Overview
- The "MO" and "FO" mandrel is designed with an Oval body configuration. This design provides
a full opening tubing drift while receiving any manufacturer's 1" OD gas lift valve or auxiliary
equipment. Each mandrel has an orienting sleeve and tool guard above the pocket which permits
the use of a positive orienting kickover tool. The function of the guard is to deflect unwanted
tools and protect the latch. These mandrels are designed to be run in deviated wells and dual completions.
- The "R" and "H" series mandrels are designed with a round body configuration. This type configuration
allows these mandrels to be run in deep and high pressure well completions. Pressure ratings range from
9,000psi to 13,500psi (Burst and Collapse) depending on the well application. These mandrels will accept
1" gas lift valves and have orienting sleeves with tool guards.
- The "U" series mandrel was designed for special clearance applications. With a max OD of 3.850
the 2 3/8" U mandrel can be run inside 5"casing while maintaining excellent burst / collapse ratings with
a full drift ID. A special design "UA" mandrel (3.750 OD) can be run inside 4 ½" casing completions and
has a full drift ID utilizing NU threads. These mandrels will accept all 1" gas lift valves.
- ILS side pocket mandrels are manufactured with AISI 4130 and 13 CR material. The above series of mandrels
are also available in a chemical injection model. ILS mandrels are compatible with all industry standard
wireline tools and appropriately sized valves and latches.
